It’s a beautiful Sunday morning on Mercer Island, so let’s take advantage of the sunny weather while it’s still here! Looking ahead, the farmer’s market season ends in mid October, and then reopens for one Sunday in November before Thanksgiving. Mark your calenders so you don’t miss out!
This week, as the transition into fall begins, I want to feature beverages that are loved all year round. The following vendors are all at the farmer’s market, and are definitely worth the visit!
Wilridge Winery: Known for being Seattle’s original winery, it is the oldest continuously operated winery since its opening in the 1980s. They have over a dozen wines to choose from and information on tastings and events here.
Middlefork Roasters: Raise your hand if you’re a coffee lover! This coffee roasting company has 6 incredible blends. So just when the kids are gearing up for back to school, you’ll have the caffeine you need to get through all the early mornings and late nights right there with them.
Piccola Wine Company: This winery is taking a new approach to their packaging, providing reusable and sustainable solutions. They have wine on tap, and 1.5 liter totes for portable ease! Check out their website here.
Shen Zen Tea: Everything is by hand. This tea label even hand throws their own line of pots and mugs on their own pottery wheel. The amount of thought and care that the two founders have put into their business is unbelieveable, and their tea is incredible. Check them out at the market or here.
