The 75-and-sunny weather might not be showing itself today, but that doesn’t mean you need to stay indoors this Father’s Day. Celebrate by taking the whole family down to the market, which is only on it’s second weekend of the season. This weekend the market is featuring Jeb’s Wild Salmon tastings, live music from Swamp Soul, and seed sorting at the kid’s booth. You can find the market schedule and other information at mifarmersmarket.org.
One of my personal favorite vendors is Whidbey Island Ice Cream, which features small batch ice creams and hand-dipped bars in a wide range of flavors. Or check out the Seattle Salsa Guy, because really, who doesn’t love some local spice?
