The Shorewood neighborhood is home to the Shorewood Apartments, the largest apartment complex on Mercer Island. Legend has it that most of the island residents have lived at the Shorewood complex at least once! A large percentage of the residents in the Shorewood neighborhood are younger singles and families with young children. There’s 60’s retro flavor to the homes in this area, which give it an interesting vibe.

The South Luther Burbank trails are accessed through Shorewood. There’s also tennis courts located in Shorewood, along with the community pool and  community theater.  I-90 access is a breeze from Shorewood.
